Tell your representative and senators to oppose
H.R. 362 and S.R. 580 which would allow for a U.S. naval blockade against Iran that would directly harm the civilian population of Iran. Tell them to end sanctions against Iran and stop the war mongering. We need to end the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan, not attack another country! Bring all U.S. troops home now!!

U.S. OUT OF IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN!
Over 4000 Americans dead, over 30,000 wounded. Between 85,000 and 1,200,000 Iraqi casualties. Over 4 million Iraqi refugees. Nuclear radiation from U.S. use of illegal "depleted" uranium weaponry has permanently contaminated the country and will continue to kill anyone exposed to it indefinitely - Americans and Iraqis alike. The war costs U.S. taxpayers $12 billion per month, or $5000 per second.
The total cost of the war is estimated to reach above $3 trillion ($3,000,000,000,000) according to Joseph Stiglitz, Nobel economics laureate. Western oil companies are concluding negotiations to secure no-bid contracts to service Iraq's largest oil fields; their profits are reaching record levels. As the war debt keeps growing, many consider the U.S. to be sliding into an economic depression.
